As matter clumped together under the influence of gravity, regions with higher density formed and eventually evolved into galaxies. Within these galaxies, clouds of gas and dust further collapsed under gravity to form stars and planetary systems.

The universe continues to expand to this day, carrying galaxies away from each other. The expansion is believed to be driven by a mysterious force called dark energy, which counteracts the gravitational attraction between matter.

While the Big Bang theory provides a comprehensive framework for understanding the early universe, there are still many open questions, such as what caused the initial singularity, what happened in the first moments after the Big Bang, and the nature of dark matter and dark energy. Scientists are actively studying these mysteries to gain a deeper understanding of the origins and evolution of the universe.
